Actually, Sue, I have another ide -- Oh, and I think
if the replace had worked, a spell-check wold have
found the unhyphenated words that needed to be
hyphenated and a replace all could have fixed them

Kasondre, I don't know if your Word has the same thing
mine does, and I have no ideaif this would work or
not, but ...

If putting a hyphen into the replace and then doing
replace all with nothingt didn't work, can you go, in
the Replace, down to Special? When it opens, among the
choices are "non-breaking hyphen" and "optional
hyphen." I have no idea what these are or what they
mean, but you could try them. If they do't work,
follow Sue's suggestion. Maybe people reading the book
can fix the hyphens themselves if they want to.

I applaud both you and the scanner for undertaking
that project. It would scare the begeeses out of me.

Cindy
