Would just like to share with everyone that for me this year's Intensive
was amazing - surpassing my expectations. I learnt a lot and had some
healing experiences too (!). I loved meeting and making friends with so
many people from all over the world and the pleasure of putting faces to
people who also write here. The depth of experience and compassion
demonstrated by the faculty at the workshops in which I was involved,
was inspiring. I felt very full by the end of the week and am still
assimilating much of it.
One experience that I found very profound (and I am probably late to
this experience compared to others) was to feel the field energetically,
as though it is a living thing, and how it can be disturbed and almost
become hostile through an inexperienced intervention, but when calmed
and soothed by the experienced facilitator it moves naturally towards
healing. I felt I began to understand the difference between technical
intervention strategies (which can be simple and powerful in themselves)
and the concept of being able to 'hold the field'.
