Hi Uta and everyone

As you know I have been overseas and just got back to find about 200 emails from constellation flow!!!! This may be a bit late but I thought I would share....
On the subject of aboriginal ancestors and permission.
You have attended a few of my workshops over the last year and a half. I believe in including the aboriginal ancestors in our constellations by inviting them to give us their blessing with the constellations we carry out and also invite them to share their healing and knowledge with us. I often use a meditation to begin our sessions in which I ask participants to invite their own ancestors in to guide and help them and to ask their own ancestors for permission to help themselves and their family.
I think acknowledging the land and aborginal people is important, particularly as none of us originated from Australia. Only the aboriginals originate from here. I like to include this in our groups because it also helps the group to remember where they are.

Once at a workshop lead by Thomas Falke here in Perth, a constellation began about a pioneer farmers family and there was a representative for the aborignal people. By the end of the constellation the aboriginal people and land had been thanked by the whole family. This constellation was one of the most powerful I have seen and felt! It affect alot of people at that workshop.
I was not a representative in this constellation but afterwards was deeply affected and cried and cried because it brought up for me the "invasions of the British" of so many countries without the slightest thought for the land or it's people. I was able to release a guilt that I had carried with me regarding my country of origin.

I think it would be fascinating and exciting to work with aboriginal families with constellation work - good luck with it all and lets talk soon.
Johanna

Subject: [ConstellationTalk] Australian Constellations

Dear Constellation talkers

I am  from Perth, Western Australia and at the beginning of this work. I
would appreciate some feedback on a question from everybody. I need any help
you like to give.

At the beginning of a constellation workshop or individual consultation
would it be helpful if I ask the aboriginal ancestors of the area for
permission to work and expressing that we are here to do work and we are
having good intentions? Is it possible to talk directly to the aboriginal
ancestors or is it needed to get an aboriginal elder to address them in
their own language?

While I am slowly introducing constellation ideas to my clients, I am aware
that some problems have arisen due to white ancestors taking land of
aboriginals and the family not aknowledging this benefit. Later descendants
of these pioneers are suffering now.

Is it important for a white facilitator (German migrant to Australia) to bow
down to one's own ancestors and the aboriginal ancestors before beginning a
constellation?

greetings - Uta

PS thank you, Francesca, for the recommendation of the book title re
reconciliation.
