I have not yet seen any Lost Twins in Hellinger work, but I have
counseled several people who have worked long enough on thier issues to
eventually get back to memories of encounters in the womb with a twin.
Quite often this is manifested in their lives as a life-long search for
the "right" mate or a deeper closeness than seems to be possible with
any current relationship. Some have physical memories of a twin being
attached at a place on their body such as a shoulder or hip, and
experiencing pain as the twin is ripped away and dies. Once the lost
twin is identified and the loss grieved completely, then the person can
let go of that early connection and begin to relate to present time
humans in an acceptable way. I would expect/hope that constellation
work on a lost twin might do this more easily and effectively.

They have been working with this issue with constellations for some time and have identified possibilities for diagnosis and how to differentiate this phenomena from other constellation images. The workshop was a great introduction to the topic and revealed some ways of working with the dynamic. The Austermanns have written a book on the topic but it is only currently available in German.
