I think this is a good question, as its often the case that its hard to hear. One possibility is to mike everyone up who stands as rep, plus the facilitator and the client. Its a hassle, and not as nice as their natural voices, but then the straining to hear thing leads the facilitator to often repeat what they said. Maybe thats a good thing, or maybe it is unnecessary given technology that is generally available. Sure people get too hooked on words, but then its also important to be able to follow something of what is happening, and words are handy for that. We use words in sentences we give to people because of their importance.
