Ed,
the power of yes can't be emphasised too much, I agree
and did allude to that in the earlier post.
Yet only the quiet yes
arising from deep within
like the spring in the mountains,
carries that power.
The artificial, forced, whipped up one
only gets the emotional body going,
for a while.
As to Guru Bert:
Pichl I ended with the handing out of the certificates.
Perhaps stage managed, the first one to receive her paper
out of Bert's hands
walked slowly towards him standing,
three to four metres in front of him
she went down, right down
to end up totally prostrate for quite a while.
That set the scene,
the next one did not go down that far
but almost and so the next
and then I left the hall.
Well over an hour did the whole procedure take.
And yet I got something good from
having been to Pichl.
Being able to thank Bert face to face
for all he has given me.

This video was my first experience of Sophie's work. I felt the power
through watching it of the "yes" she was eliciting in the representative,
but became weirded out when she took it into theatrics. And then, when
she
gestured to Bert and said, in effect, it's not me, it's him, the
enlightened
one, I was deeply disappointed. It was hard to watch Bert accepting the
authority and role of guru. When I first met him I had a lot of issues
about
gurus, having just spent twenty years with one or two. Once, coming out of
a
training, I reached for his shoes, to help him on with them (as in-and I
am
embarrassed to admit this--the feet of the master), and he said "I'd
rather
do it myself." That was reassuring. I thought, "Great, he won't accept
that
projection, and so I am safe with him." Another time I asked how he deals
with the adulation he receives, and he said, "I don't' let it stick to
me."
But now it appears that he is saying yes to it. Or maybe the Teflon has
just
worn thin.
And yet I got something good from watching that constellation.

You are overdoing it,

where the clips were taken
- not out of context as you try to make out,
actually embarrassingly accurate-
it feels necessary to put it on record:
Not at the end of a long days work,
rather right in the middle did it happen.
And it was not the only time during that course,
perhaps luckily for Sciencia
the other, earlier, much heavier occasion may not be
readily obtainable for the public.
I am still berating myself,
wouldn't it have been the right thing to do
to speak up there and then
and express my feeling very uncomfortable
about witnessing group techniques employed
that had been badly abused in the past.

I have been to both I & II and I can see how the Yes, clip out of
context
would be disturbing. In Sophie's excitement at the end of a long days
work
we pepped up the group energy in resonance with what Bert was teaching
us
about Spirit Mind.
In saying YES to Mother and Father as they were and YES to Life as it is
we
find healing and acceptance of things that cannot be changed but
transformed
through accepting EVERYTHING as it is. We didn't create dualistic
thinking
but are at the affect of it. Saying "YES" frees us from fighting battles
that have been long lost etc. This Opens us up for the good stuff that
was
already there which we couldn't SEE because we were so busy being
Bigger,
judgmental and critical of our parents and life itself. Imagine saying
YES
to everything in our past? How much energy would we save trying to
change
what cannot be undone. How much energy and freedom would we have open to
us
to create a new reality? Lots. I hope this helps clarify from my Point
of
View the Context of YES. it also keeps us in the present moment facing
the
future and life. Namaste to all who read CT providing this great service

In researching Bert Hellinger on the Internet, I looked to see if
there were any videos about him on YouTube and sure enough, there are
dozens. But unfortunately almost all of them are in German. Some are
in Spanish and even Italian.
However, I did find two videos that were in English but they don't
show Bert Hellinger as much as his new wife Sophie leading a
constellation seminar or something at the Pichl Camp.

Could someone please comment on what she is doing as facilitator here?
I assume this is the new form of constellation work called working
with the spirit mind. But when she starts making people scream Yes
louder and louder --- well, frankly, it's pretty disturbing to me.
I'm trying to be non-judgmental here, so could her techniques of
facilitating be due to the differences between the cultures of Germany
and America?
