That is so wonderful-- and thank you for sharing it. It makes sense that the
healing movement would be reconciling and unifying. And I feel the shift you
revealed: I'm bringing two conventionally trained therapists for their first
experience of the work to the Portland Congress and another workshop here.
One of Bert's gifts to us is the freedom to grow the work creatively and
that will naturally attract healers of all stripes.

and yeah, Bert in a constellation a constellation on the work. Great
idea!
One has taken place more than two years ago.
I did put Bert up in a constellation.
There was a cynically critical article in the German news magazine Der
Spiegel on Bert and FC about which I wrote to C-Talk.
Chris replied, suggesting sort of in jest to imagine Bert asking me to set
up a constellation about 1. academically trained therapists opposed to FC,
2. academically trained therapists who embrace and apply FC and 3. non
academically trained practitioners of FC.
I did take it seriously and -by myself- used roller chairs to represent
the three. Soon it became obviously necessary to take another roller
chair to represent Bert.
I left the chairs in their positions overnight.
There was a workshop on the next day. In the afternoon still time and
energy for another constellation and participants agreed to full scale
continue the one I had initiated the previous evening; four of them taking
up the positions, assuming movements of the soul.
From the holding circle soon the remark came: something is missing.
Instantly clear, of course, The Work.
My only intervention was to bring in The Work.
The ensuing movements of The Work over a considerable period of time that
were bringing together the three initially rather hostile protagonists were
a wonderful sight to behold.
The childlike seductive playfulness of the Work did the trick. Ending with
all four of them standing in a harmonious semi circle facing a very benign
looking Bert (who remained rather stationary throughout).
Everyone present felt a sense of utter collectedness throughout. Maybe best
described as
joyfully serious.
