Hi Everyone:

I have been a certified Breath Practitioner for over 35 years . I was the International Breath President for Canada for five years. Breath work is one of the most powerful ways that I know of to release trauma from the physical body when done in a conscious way with support of a trained practitioner with Trauma training. My husband and myself had a two year Breath Practitioner training for many years in the past as well as ran a ten day retreat for many years here in the beautiful Kootenays B.C. Canada and Germany .

In most ancient languages  the word Breath and Spirit meant the same thing, because Breath connects us to Spirit, to our heart and to our own knowingness. Seventy percent of our body toxins are released through the breath. The International Breath Foundation used to send out a little magazine four times a year. This is how I found out about Constellation work  about 12 years ago and was so impressed how Constellation work had the same awareness about our connection to birth, family and ancestors and how that affects everything in our lives.  We were so impressed at our first workshop that we  got trained with Francisca Mason Boring and many other wonderful teachers over the years.

There are several forms of Breath work, Stanislav Grof  ( Holotropic Breath work) and Lenard Ore ( Re birthing)were grandfathers back in the 70s  early 80s . There are many others who also do great Breath work and there are tons of books on breath work. There is more information about Breath work on our old web site www.lifeshiftseminars.com if you are interested in reading more.

Warm Regards

Blanche Tanner

There is Holotropic Breathwork, developed and widely taught by Stanislav Grof since the 80s or so, widely practiced.
I have been a participant, but have no information on outcomes.
