Dear Friends,
On "Children in the Circle": I have been working with systemic education in
schools where the schools invite parents and their children to participate in
family constellations. I do not work with the children themselves but they can
generally remain during the workshop and see their parents work. I always keep
my focus on the dignity of their parents and interesting things happen during
the constellations: whilst the representatives for the parents work, children
who have been very restless or crying (toddlers) gradually calm down, first
following the constellation attentively and finally starting to play or keeping
to themselves creatively.

I recently had 11 year old twin girls attended with their mother, a 13 year
old girl also with her mother and a 16 year old girl with her aunt at my
workshop. They were a close group of friends that immigrated from Hong Kong
to Victoria BC. and shared a home together.
They had wanted to sign up for the two days workshop which I resisted and
said No too to the coordinator but agreed that they can attend the 3 hours
intro. At the intro, the 13 year old’s mother wanted to do a piece of work.
I agreed on condition that the 13 year old daughter wait outside while her
mom gets her work explored. They agreed. The daughter was only called in to
join us and stood in resource with all the Ancestors behind her mother and
family.
The other teenagers stayed in the group all the time.
Next day all the teenagers arrived for the workshop and the mothers said
that all wanted to attend and the 13 year old girl reported to her mother
that she felt strong support of energy from her Ancestors and wanted to
attend the 2 days workshop after the experience at the intro. I trusted then
that I have the blessings and permission of their Ancestors to serve under
their supervision. I was humbled once again.
The 11 year old twins wanted to stay for the mother’s constellation on the
last day of workshop and I had a gut feeling that it was a NO but they all
insisted again and so I explained that I will let the FIELD inform us. I had
the Twins represent themselves for the highest good because no one in the
group would do it?! Two representatives were picked and were given a paper
each. One paper had Yes and the other had No and these representative were
told that they were free to move and the Twins representing the highest good
just stay put. The one with the Yes paper immediately and practically ran
out of the circle the moment she was given the “blind” paper. “Blind”
meaning no one knows what was written on the papers and not even the
Representatives nor I as the facilitator. I left it to "bigger
hands”/phenomenology .So in this way they were convinced and when the mother
did her constellation, it became very clear that the twins have been
discuss here.

Again the twins waited outside and were reintroduced back in and stood in
resource again with strong Ancestral support behind them.
I have heard that Dogs and Children know everything and it may be
true…loyalty.
My experience has been that the FIELD protects and always decide who attends
and who do not.
Dear Verena, having shared what I have shared above, I would say that you
can always trust in your own gut feelings which I know that you already know
anyways.
The late Dietrich Weth whom I had the grace of hosting for him in the early
days allowed children. There was a 3 year old boy who attended with his
aunty was very instrumental in a healing movement for a lady to make the
movement towards her mother. Then there was a 6 year old girl who was a
little Shaman waving her hands and doing all sorts of mudra to move energy
while her parents were getting their work explored.
I did not know how to explain what is Mudra and goggle says:-
The meaning of ‘mudra’, which is a Sanskrit word, is ‘closure’ or ‘seal’.
Mudra hand positions are physical gestures that have an effect on the energy
flow of the body. The ancient practice of yoga links the hand mudras to the
changing spiritual and mental aspects of a person. The mudras are usually
finger positions like in the Anjali Mudra, where the hands are kept at the
center of the heart.

The background is that a particular group of student ('formerly'
disadvantaged, the bulk are single parents now and have been raised by single
parents too, perhaps first in the family to earn a tertiary qualification).
They seem to seem to struggle with Maths-related courses.............
I value your feedback in however way it will support these learners and my
learning too!
