Thanks, Chris for posting the sad news about Helen to the community. I had
known of this for several days and I was quite shocked to hear it. Despite
knowing that we all die in our time and firmly believing that "no one dies too
soon" as Bert has often said, still, sometimes someone dies too soon for me.
Helen is one of those. Moving on to the next adventure in the prime of life. It
has affected me deeply.
Then in the midst of processing this loss, I get another email. Here it is:
Maybe you heard the news already via the network. If not, this email is to let
you know that Hans Schenkel passed away last week Monday, September 24.
He left his physical body to, as he would like to state himself, become one
with Pure Love.

So I am shaken twice in the same week. Hans came to the 2nd US Conference in
2007, sharing his exuberance, joy, and kind presence with almost every person
there. He drew one to him and was unforgettable. And we communicated over the
years since then. Here was his last post to me in May - it beautifully shows
his big heart and loving spirit and I am happy to share this part of him with
you:

Nice to hear from you and Im touched that you share your process a little bit
with me. And Im glad to see that this transition is going well, although this
world has not always the proper support in this. And coming to Europe for a
time
!
Its my situation also in the last six years. Having surgery for the cancer I
had, which came back in 2009. Slowly growing and this my luck, my gift from
life. Also a gift is the love of my love ones of course. Since 2011 different
treatment with chemo, with successes and too much negative side effects. Last
months were heavy, but now, with some support of acupuncture and a Chinese
decoction of herbs I feel better since. So I can enjoy life again much more and
let the energy, which I need to have confidence, grow more again. And then it
is possible to join the wonderful world again of the constellation work. I
translated my website into English for students in the Netherlands and I like
to hear some comments from you when its on the net one of these weeks.
We will see, meet and speak to each other someday and Im looking forward to
that moment. So I can enjoy your warmth and humor again from close distance.

Subject: [ConstellationTalk] Helen Celestino's passing
Sadly it has come to my attention that one of the main practitioners of
constellation work in South Africa passed away 3 days ago. Helen and her
husband Claudio were regular attendees at the annual Bernreid intensive
training. I personally had email contact with them for a number of years
and met them both in person for the first time in April this year at the
intensive in Germany. At that stage Helen was well and she and Claudio were
busy making plans to further develop the work and trying to find ways to
take it to the disadvantaged.
Helen is a truly gentle soul and her physical presence will be truly missed
by many in our community.
Many people are sending their condolences to Claudio's facebook page which
seems to me to be an unintrusive way of letting Clausio know about the
support and good wishes around in the constellation community.
