I do not think the genius of Sigmund Freud can be over estimated in his
recognition of the unconscious. The levels of subtlety involved in our
unconscious is truly breathtaking. This is often demonstrated in
constellations, as completely unexpected events and realisation unfold.
Therefore perhaps it is not unwise to suspect levels of unawareness in most
of us. An experience is an experience and maybe it is good to be cautions
before we elevate it beyond that. The intention to create a loving and
empowering space is an intention that may or may not transpire fully.
We may feel that our fears, preconceptions, projections and expectations
will fall away the moment we enter the field but I do not believe in such
radical simplicity. My assumption would be that fears, projections and
expectations will continue to lurk in the background.

Some background........
At a personal level, I know that when I step into the field and / or step
up to facilitate, all my fears, preconceptions, projections and
expectations will fall away and I will be completely in service. It is
what happens for me. I actually feel it fall away, acknowledge it and give
thanks.
I purposefully owned that part of me that needs to get this "right" for
the participants so it became "out there", acknowledged and in front of
me. I was stuck, I needed to speak to it, to get some input and direction
towards a go forward position. I honour that I am safe to do that on this
server, that feels great.
I know that my need to get it right stems from my own military trauma
which was experienced at a time when such matters were not acknowledged.
There was no-one "there" for me, I struggled to find either understanding
or support and that is a painful place.
With appropriate preparation the team that are here now and creating the
healing space for the participants will "be there" to support and bring to
the fore a different dynamic to my experience. We will create a loving and
empowering space and place for participants to "come home" to themselves.
The rest is up to them.
We will have a support staff of conscious men and women about equal to
participant numbers, plus the guidance of men who have facilitated this
program elsewhere. *And* we are developing a program suited to
Australian's cultural needs.
The event is fully supported and financed by a local branch of the
Returned Services League of Australia.
I am enormously grateful for your input. I have already shared lots with
the team and have them watching UTube presentations and reading Ed Tick. I
feel you are all coming on this journey with us.....:-)
