“attempts to reveal” is already a critical attitude — adding “supposedly” to 
that sentence is overkill even for a skeptic.

I think there has been some strategizing in the past among our community about 
revisions to this article — I hope someone can tread wisely into the current 
article (I think it used to be longer than 3 paragraphs) to address some of the 
points Jack raised. Indeed it’s very important.
