Dear Dan,
Thank you, is not enough to say what i feel at you sharing your insights, to my
recent questionning.... I can finally express this grief in my heart, with the
understanding that i am joined with others, in this. And perhaps also joined
to the perpetrators as well.....Willing to explore this avenue too.
Just today we held our continuing training group meeting in Montreal. All of
us, were open to explore what you suggested in our next meeting. Will share
what took place, later on.
How amazing, that writting how i feel, meeting others in responses, can relax
my heart so much.!
Dan, Chris and all, gratefulness for the wonderful getting together on this
CT.
Merci de tout mon coeur
Khudai

Seminar in Germany
Dear Khudai -
To my understanding, the pain and anguish of Holocaust victims and the
murderous impulses of their killers are not imbedded qualities unique to
Jews or Germans. There is some form of collective cold-heartedness and
violence that migrates through human history, settling in particular places
in certain times. Since the Nazi Holocaust, there have been other mass
genocides, such as in Cambodia and Rwanda. Cruelty, injustice, and terror
are found anywhere and everywhere.
What existed in Germany during the Nazi period picked up and moved on. It
resides elsewhere today. The descendants of victims, perpetrators, and
survivors (e.g. everyone) carry burdens left over from these events that
find many forms of expression, both to heal and to harm.
What is commonly known as the Potato Famine in Ireland often appears in
Constellations as genocide. The culture of violence that exists today among
urban African Americans can be traced to the rough-and-tumble days of 18th
century Scottish immigrants to the Carolinas. Chinese, Russian, you name
it; all have suffered from the black cloud that settled over Germany.
You write, "One sentence.....starts me crying....it feels so painful that I
can hardly look at it...." That is the key. Someone living inside of you
is speaking those words. If you place her/him in a Constellation, do it with
a lot of support. Ask people from the group to stand in, as they are so
moved, for ancestors who can hold the crying person. You cannot heal those
wounds, but if you see her, open your heart to her, and hold her, she can
heal yours.
Be well,
Dan

Healing Seminar in Germany
Dear Dan,
I have had a hard time reading what people shared of their experiences
concerning what took place in the camps in Germany. One sentence..... start
me crying....it feels so painful that i can hardly look at it....Yet, i have
no known ancestors from Germany...AND ...in 1970 I married a german man and
lived in Germany for 13 years. My ex father in law was nazi...Returning to
Canada, my home country, work brought me back to Germany again and again
(because i had learned to speak the language ...as i understood it then).
Reconciliation with my ex german husband is in completion..i feel.
Love-hate has been a big part of my relationship to Germany..and still there
is such attraction and at the same time such a big NO.
I'm happy I can share this with you and all on CT.. A bit shaky.... at
exposing this.
In my area, we are a few facilitators, meeting once a month since we
participated in the Family Constellation training 3 years ago. Most of us
have some ancestors from Ireland, France and Scotland. None have any from
Germany.
Dear Dan, could tou share some insights on this issue. Perhaps we could,
here, together in our meetings, set up a constellation that would give peace
and understanding to my heart/soul... I'm amazed at all the work, trainings,
meditations, I've done...and still this issue is so alive .
In gratefulness that around this planet, humans share being humans together.
Thank you all.
Khudai

Subject: [ConstellationTalk] Report From 3-Day Responsibility and Healing
Seminar in Germany
Earlier this month, I led a 3-Day seminar in Germany at the site of a former
Displaced Persons camp for Jewish Holocaust survivors. We had 30+
participants. I have written a report about the event which can be accessed
through my website: www.HiddenSolution.com <http://www.hiddenso
<http://www.hiddensolution.com/> lution.com/>
. Click the link for the Special Report. Several participants added
comments to the report which are recommended reading.
The event was very meaningful for me and others. I am glad to share the
experience with our virtual community.
Dan
Here are some excerpts.
From the participants:
"I was standing for all women who were betrayed and abandoned. Their names
were forgotten. It reminded me of a sentence said by one of my mentally
retarded students: God has the face of all people."
"My grandfather was an SS-man in the Second World War. After the
constellation in the meditation, I saw my mother - to whom I do not have an
easy relationship - laughing. I feel that she is much more relaxed than
before."
"Besides offering our respect and remorse for the suffering and dignity of
the victims, we clearly and respectfully perceived the responsibility of the
perpetrators. Throughout the world, perpetrators tend to shrug off
responsibility or present themselves as victims."
From the report:
This 3-day seminar near Munich, Germany took place at the former site of
Föhrenwald, a Displaced Persons camp for Jewish Holocaust survivors.
Among the 30 participants were several children of Jewish Holocaust
survivors and many children of Nazi perpetrators. Each of us came to
Föhrenwald in search of healing and understanding for a part of ourselves or
the essence of a loved-one who live inside of us.
Part of us cannot find peace or come to rest. In the silence of our dreams,
in our restless thoughts, in the darkest places in our hearts, the terrible
experiences that befell our fathers and mothers, grandparents, aunts and
uncles live on inside us. They appear as nightmares or panic attacks,
forgetfulness or sorrow.
These dark influences also motivate our kindness and compassion, propelling
us to be healers, peacemakers, and teachers. We honor our ancestors' losses
and soothe their pain by embracing that we are the living fruit of their
sacrifices. They grieve when their suffering becomes ours. They bless us
when we take our good lives and live well.
Our experiences together gave us what we sought. We began with three images
from the Nazi era: a small boy clinging to his mother's leg in the Jewish
Ghetto, a teenage boy at the mouth of his own grave begging for mercy, and a
hate-filled, cold-hearted soldier who killed without mercy.
The archetypes of "Silence," "Terror," and "Consequences" dominated this
bereft landscape. The healing process required everyone and everything that
belonged to be seen and named. This allowed unbearable grief to be felt and
exchanged.
Mutually shared grief, in the company of "Life," "Truth," and "Destiny,"
exposed the buried wounds. When we concluded, the children of those who
fought and died stood connected by the energy of love and forgiveness.
