I'm a facilitator in the US. My experience does not support the theory that facilitators suffer from more serious disease. There is an emotional holding that a facilitator supports and it is important to understand what each one needs to do to take care of themselves. If they don't take care of themselves, of course they are at greater risk, however, that is true of any discipline, not specific to this one. This is just my opinion based on personal observation.
