Subject: Re: [ConstellationTalk] Self Love
I concure with Chrish. Self love and self compassion take over different places
with different manitude inside my body when I notice their existence. Self
compassion is more multi-layers and multi-directional, and of course congruent
with me inside.

Hi all
I find the concept of self compassion more useful than this rather aggressive
sounding version of self love. It is more spacious and less inviting for the
ego. It puts our needs on a par with others rather than above others. It is
inclusive in a way that is more consistent with the spirit of inclusion that
seems to be an important part of constellations. Moreover there is good quality
research now to show it's healing capacity. A good book about it is Self
Compassion by Kristin Neff

Hello Robert.
Yes, this is indeed so, but in this case, having to support the facilitator, is
because it is within the field and is, himself, intervener. In other words, he
himself lacks.
The circumstance / situation as a whole, which presents the Dienne is different.
Thanks

Dear All,
The dynamics of self love is an interesting one. On closer inspection self love
seems to imply self loathing. The challenge for the facilitator is to support
both, to give both those aspects the space and the time.
Best wishes to all,
Robert

I am wanting to support participants in a group to align more with "self love"
and transform obstacles that stand in the way of that. Self love meaning being
proactive or fiercely committed to taking care of our own needs and wants. Some
of the teachers/literature I am studying at the moment point to a discipline of
self love as being the best way to align with the magnificence of our full
potential as the energy of self love is the closest expression of "Source". I
am wondering if anyone has a suggestion of a 2 to 6 position set-up that
members of the group could all take turns stepping into.
