Hello Rita,
What wasn't clear in this message was are the kids going to be there or just
the parents? As there can/will be representatives for the children AND my
thought is IF the parents are taking care of their systemic issues together
then the children will certainly have a healing effect from their creators
working out the issues. I would just work on the parents without the
children present. If dark stuff emerges it may not be appropriate to expose
the children to "Adult stuff" and let them be little and receive the "good
stuff" that their parents will care for them be healing themselves and the
bigger system they all live in together.

Greetings from La Crosse WI.
I have been asked to facilitate a family constellation....a Mom,
Dad,
and three children, ages, 12, 14, 16. I have worked with the Dad a
few times, the mom once and have not met the children. Some months
ago I referred
them to a Psychiatrist in a private practice clinic that I do some
contractual work for and who is doing Wholistic
Psychiatry. They,(the family) have requested me to do a family
constellation, (with the consent of the Psychiatrist)
I have mainly focused on the one on one constellations and as an
MFT
therapist in a hospital setting, I take care with respect to
boundaries/ethics
and give my best to both "roles".
