I guess anxiety and fear are very usually present in our work. However, yesterday, for the first time in working with FC I felt it was almost too much.
I experienced this anxiety in my heart many days before the workshop. I prepared myself meditating and praying.
I had a big group of people mostly new to FC and most of them with very "heavy" issues, most likely related to war and mass killing.
I was feeling it before so much to the point I wrote to Anngwyn in the morning asking for her blessings to my work!
I always felt we get what we can handle... like some natural arrangment of the field itself.
It is no coincidence that this happens to me a couple of weeks after I did a constellation where the tragedy of my ancestors victims of the Inquisition strongly showed up.
However, yesterday, for the first time I wondered about my capacity of handling SUCH forces.
Thanks to all of you holding these brave healing field...

Maria,

Yes, I have seen both anxiety and fear to the point of near panic
particularly when they are in the presence of a mass killing.
Unfortunately, Peru has history of both cataclysms and internacine wars in
which small and not so small villages have been buried. When this is
present in the field, one or more of the representatives may experience
anxiety or extreme fear bordering on panic.

I remember early on in my work as a facilitator we had woman jump up in the
air, higher than she later admitted she could jump, and run out of the
room. I happened to be facilitating the work with a trusted colleague who
followed her out to "ground" her. I have also seen it in work I have done
in areas with the highest incidence of casualties during our most recent
internal war. Usually, either giving the representative the permission to
move away or physically assisting them to gain distance from the
perpetrator(s) will significantly diminish either of these emotional
states.

I am sure Anngwyn can speak to this with more precision in cases of severe
trauma.

I believe it is of utmost importance that the facilitator remain as
resourceful as possible.

May you find value in these comments.

Fondly,

Stephen

Dear all,

Have you ever seen "anxiety" or "fear" in a constellations ?

Anxiety and fear can be there before the constellation start. During
constellations, I never saw it. Is this your experience too ?
