To say I agree and value your contribution is hardly patronising. To hold up
your contribution as a good model for other contributions is more about
supporting Ctalk than you. You are obviously aware of the Sciencia versus
ISCA undercurrents. I am quietly managing that behind the scenes. Part of
that is encouraging good quality posts such as yours and Dan's this AM.
I am really confused as to what is going on with you and Alemka lately. You
both seem to be very quick to think you are being patronised rather than
taking things at face value. Please if there is some other underlying issue
that has led to your recent sensitivies i would really appreciate it if you
could bring it into the open. maybe we should arrange to catch up one day
face to face, one on one. That way we could sort out any misunderstandings
that may be occurring.

however to be answered nevertheless.
What comes to mind is our teacher Bert's question he puts
when someone comments or queries after a constellation:
"does this add to or take away from what went on before"?
Another question arises:
Is Chris, the friend and college of mine
of quite some years commenting,
or do I hear someone impersonating
a headmaster praising his 'successful' student
in front of the entire college?
I do hope it is the former.
I did indeed share the effects
of a very personal constellation.
It was certainly not on my mind
to gain praise for my "learning".
It felt appropriate and a sign of my
gratitude that this forum exists
for me to report to CTalk.
If there was any directional intention in my words
then clearly towards the heart, not the intellect.

For the last two weeks
the Australian multicultural TV station SBS
did screen "Dresden, the Inferno"
a movie that dramatises the destruction of the city
in February 1945, intertwines the actual happenings
with an unlikely love story between a German woman
and an English Bomber pilot who had escaped capture
by the Germans after being shot down during a previous raid.
Why bring this up on CTAlk?
Well, some of you may remember previous posts of mine
in regards to my coming to terms
with the German past 1933-45.
May this one be the last.
The effect, that movie had on me
feels like a break through
in keeping with our work.
Having been aware of a sense of shame and guilt
ever since the historical truth dawned on me
I was filled with a passion to 'make up' for
what my country people had done.
For a long time this 'making up'
consisted of nothing but feeling bad about being German
combined with a vague 'serves them right' attitude
in regards to the collective punishment Germans took.
Time certainly helped a bit to ease that attitude
yet it was the involvement with constellation work
and all the encounters that arose through it
-not in the least this very forum-
that made a difference.
Until watching the final episode of "Dresden" however,
there was still something between
me and the German past:
My inability to feel the pain of my people,
to grief with their anguish and loss.
I do feel all that now.
