Thanks for this Gary. It reminded me that many years ago I went to see an
old woman give a talk about the Hopi Nation. At the time, I was not
involved with any kind of self-exploration, constellation work or anything
else similar. I was busy being a mother! But that talk impacted on me so
strongly, it is still with me today.
This old woman had been taken in by the Hopi Nation when her car broke down
in the middle of nowhere. She stayed with them for 2 years! She had slides
of many beautiful crafts and artwork they had created but what fascinated me
and stayed with me most was the fact that she said they had no past or
future tense in their language, that they did not understand the concept of
possession, so the word 'my' did not exist either and that they said they
only needed to retain their separate identity 'until white man sees'.
Fascinating.
