I have followed this conservation with great interest and respect Chris'
observation that our discussion should be constellation related.
I would like to make a gentle suggestion that when talking about other cultures
with different spiritual practices that we be very sensitive about adopting
these practices. I recently heard the stories of three Paiute/Shoshone women
who talked about their ancestral trauma and destruction of their culture caused
by my ancestors as they settled this country. Only when we are invited by
tribal elders to experience a Native American ceremony, powwow, or blessing can
learn about them and even then we would need the permission of the tribal
elders to talk about the experience.
Daan Van Kampenhout's book, Images of the Soul, is a good way to learn about
Shamanism and FC work. His practice of shamanism is also an excellent way to
experience the grounded and natural experiences with animals and nature without
infringing on the cultural practices of indigenous peoples.
I honor Mother Earth in my own way which is much more meaningful to me than
saying the words.

This forum was set up for conversation about constellation practice. If it
deteriorated into an exchange of platitudes based on various people's
spiritual or political belief systems it would no longer be serving the
purpose for which it was set it up. However constellation work does have a
genuine spiritual aspect. This forum needs to remain open to that. My
concern is about people sending in posts about emoto or Libya or whatever
with no attempt to relate it to constellation work.
If someone wants to set up another email group to discuss broader
spirituality they are quite welcome to do so. However as founder and
moderator of this group I will defend the mandate of this group. Accordingly
from now on if anyone sends posts that are not related to constellation work
I will place them on moderation. That means I will read their posts before
they go to the group. If their posts are not related to constellation work
they will be rejected. In the spirit of transparency I will not get in the
way of any ongoing discussion of this decision.
