Hi all!
I have now facilitated 2 constellations where the "father" and the child
regarded each other with mutual aloofness despite the right moves having been
done before. At this point the whole constellation seemed stuck.
In one case the child could not bow. In another case the "father" could not
take the child & the child was suspicious of the "father". In both
constellations the client volunteered that there was significant doubt about
the paternity of the child.
When an extra representative for the biological father was introduced to these
constellations, they proceeded quickly to resolution. This required finding
adequate acknowledgement of both "fathers". It also required appropriate
resolution between the mother and these two men. Has anyone had similar
experiences?
Interestingly research based on blood types and more recently on DNA testing
show that, at least in the Western world paternity is other than thought in a
staggering 10% of cases. Recently there was such a study in West Australia. So
I am surprised that I haven't heard of this issue coming up more often in
constellations. Does anyone have any thoughts?
hasta la vista
