Chris,
This list will help me a great deal. Thanks!
I did receive some training, but now in Arizona (I just moved here)
I am not having success as of yet in finding practitioners, even for
supervisory work. I admit, not having therapeutic credentials has
given me concern as to how I'll be received when asking for
guidance. It would be very helpful to attend workshops of other
facilitators and serve as representative, and I have actually, found
a workshop in Northern Arizona, but it has been temporarily
postponed.
If you have a minute, would you refer me to specific
titles/publications which you would recommend for Virginia Satir,
Carl Whittaker and Murray Bowen? What about constellations videos?
Are these helpful for training when the real thing is not available?
I have read several books on NLP, in particular I found Frogs Into
Princes to be most helpful. But in terms of this work, I wonder if
there is any writing out there which specifically addresses use of
NLP and constellations? I would also be happy to read thoughts on
the subject of constellations theory reflected in novels, movies,
life. I miss discussions like these from college days,so I really
appreciate your forum!

Dear Chris and Dan,
Thank you for your responses - I will not be actively on-line for a
few days as I am currently in the process of moving. I'll check
back for related messages once I'm settled. Chris, I re-read my
initial message and I now see why you thought I had personally
received advice from Bertold Ulsamer. Unfortunately for me, this
sage wisdom I spoke of was solely through his publications!
one day I can say differently...feels
I'll look forward to checking back in after a couple days. It
so much better to have connected with you. Thank you for thisgroup!

Suffice to say, that I really respect Trish's attitude - making a

Thank you all for your candor concerning non-psychologists who
trainingdrawn to this work; as am I. A psychologist with whom I trainedin
constellations told me that anyone can do this work, but itappears
some opinions on this matter may be less restrictive than others.I
have my first "presentation" (not yet a workshop) in 2 weeks andmy
concern is that I have not the professional (therapeutic)
itof others, i.e., psychologists/therapists.experience
However, I am encouraged by the idea that destiny leads us to do
what we will, and I simply can't set this work aside without
attempting to find my place. I have had preliminary training in
Boston but not to any comparative extent with the qualifications
listed among other professionals. I devour reading materials and
all that I can find on the net. I also believe that life
and desire play their part so I am, as I said, encouraged.for
Could you say something, or direct me to links, which address
responsibility and liability toward providing a safe atmosphere
clients? I have derived so much wisdom from Bertold Ulsamer onthis
topic, and I'm certain many of you have valuable input as well.It
certainly relieves me to know this work will find its ownmy
resolution, but I want to be prepared and responsible insofar as
contribution to that end.Bert
Finally, I read on the posting site a section which referred to
Hellinger stating that if this work stays in the medical field,
thiswill die. Do you know where I may find further writing on this
issue? I would appreciate any direction and reinforcements at
very early stage.
Many thanks!
