Dear Oscar
I can’t speak from experience as I have so little, but only from what I’ve been
taught. What jumped out at me about your description of the client who doesn’t
get it, is point 3, the client is not in their body but operating from their
head. You can use techniques to get them into their body. Ask questions such as
“Where do you feel that in your body? Can you touch that place? What does it
feel like?” etc. and touch them on the lower back to bring them down and in to
the body.
If it is not possible to get the client into their body then it is probably
better not to work with them at this stage and to tell them so. If you do
continue the work, the constellation is disconnected and chaotic.
I’ve had a similar issue with 2 people who were new to FC and couldn’t
understand what it meant to be a representative. I thought I had explained it
thoroughly and we had even done an exercise. Other new people in the group “got
it”. I don’t know why these two didn’t and am still pondering how to deal with
this next time. Probably I would say more clearly to the representative, in the
moment, that they should feel into what is going on in their body and not think
too much.
