I would like to know more about what you are saying. From what you
say it sounds like that we almost only use our feelings in
facilitation. Is that how you facilitate? Are you saying that is how
Bert Hellinger facilitates? And in the time when FC was different, I
thought that time was now, what else did people use to facilitate? I
know when I facilitate I use my thoughts as well, and my ideas, and
what i notice, and other people's thoughts, ideas and feelings,
especially the representatives and the client, though others as well.

Hi Vivian as far as I know Hellinger doesn't write much any more on
technicalities. The books you cite are from a time when FC were very
different.
I have seen him placing the whole family as their own
reperesentatives, even placing children to represent older people.
Things that were preferably not to be done in the times of classical
constellations. Of course he uses other people for the client as
well, depending on what? just the feeling of course. Some times you
feel for doing one way or the other. There is not a prescription for
that. Not almost for anything in this job.

I wonder if I could ask for some help: I am doing some writing at
present on constellations and in particular about the use of a
representative for the client. In later years Hellinger has come to use
the client themselves quite often in the constellation, without a
representative. However in the early days I remember him saying at a
seminar I attended that it was better to use a representative because
the actual client was likely to be too entangled to be in the
constellation at the beginning. If there is one I need a written
reference, and I can't find it. I have gone through his books, most
particularly LHS, Acknowledging What is and Touching Love etc, and I
can't find anything on it. I am pretty sure I have read something about
this somewhere, but I can't find it.
Does anyone have easily to hand a written reference to this in any of
Hellnger's books? It would be enormously helpful to me if you have... I
hope that this is a legitimate use of CT!
