Dear Tracy,
Here are a few non-constellations sources on this:
The best details are

But if you want more info, keep reading:
1-Otto Rank, one of Freud’s disciples, wrote brilliantlyon Art and Creativity,
and Birth Trauma.
Here are a few links

There were some huge rifts between Freud and Rank.
2-I attended some workshops with Stanislav Grof in the1980’s. His book Beyond
The Brain - Birth, Sex, and Transcendence givethe perinatal level as one of
the four layers of the psyche

Matrices
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stanislav_Grof#Encounter_with_birth_and_death:_dynamics_of_the_perinatal_matrices
here he describes places people can get stuck orassociated with, related to
four kinds of trauma…
I do remember that Grof felt that there were realdifferences between elective
C-section and emergency C-section.
Like Rank, he felt that birth itself was the implantingof an imprint of
successfully overcoming a near-death challenge.
For example, elective C-sections, he proposed, are morein touch with the
spiritual dimensions, more ‘magical children’. However, theycan have a hard
time buckling down to meet a challenge or do something thatthey don’t want
to…..
Emergency C-sections may have more anxiety/tension, and asense of needing to be
helped…
Sorry for how vague and oversimplified this all is…..
3- Some studies suggest that some brain functions have anassociation with
premature clamping of the umbilical cord….
There are other health benefits to delayed clamping aswell. Until about 20
years ago, rapid clamping was the norm in hospitaldeliveries by doctors.
https://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2015/05/26/409697568/delayed-umbilical-cord-clamping-may-benefit-children-years-later
When I was an intern in 1978, I delivered about 120babies, and attended a few
hundred more births....
It is embarrassing how much I/we did not know about thebirth process back
then…..
The last few I delivered over the past 10 years went muchmore smoothly for
everyone….
4- Cord around the neck - depends on how tight it was.
If there are heart rate decelerations on fetal monitor ormeconium staining of
the amniotic fluid, then yes, that is causing distress. Ifit is loosely wound,
no problem, even if two or three wraps.
My youngest daughter, born at home after her mom had 2c-sections for her older
brother and sister, had a knot in the cord, and cameout a bit blue.
Hope this helps,
