I think Magaret's recent post around how she works with pregnant women
holds the essence for addressing many of these questions - it's about
providing enough information so the person can take resposibility for
themselves and make their own choices. Our medical care model tends to
dumb us down so we become a cogs in the wheel of a large system, the
interface between this and constellation work is always going to be
challenging.
I realise we need frameworks but it is very hard to make blanket rules.
Even in the example you give of where it is obvious not to do a
constellation "Obviously, one contra-indication is having done a recent
constellation on the same theme" it is better not to make a hard rule.
Diane's example with the allergic client shows this perfectly. How much
closer in time can you get than this for repeating a constellation on
the same theme?
Gail.

They have asked whether facilitators typically do a medical or mental

For me, sensing what the client or system can hold arises from both
work and my prior experience and training in other forms, but I amalso
interested in learning how you approach that. What are your criteriaeither
feeling based, or cognitive? When and where do you apply criteria fromother
health models to that determination?certainly

I don't remember all the details because it was years ago, but I was
