Hello all,
First of all thanks a lot for all your replays. that shows me that I am not
alone. thanks again for coming out. I know it isnt easy as it isnt for me,
too.

As written in my first email I come from music mixing to music making with
out knowing anything about music making at all. My only experince was that 1
year of training at the piano long ago. Most of it is gone.

Special thanks also to you DJX! I will contact you later this day or
tomorrow to find out a time when we can talk.
My next goal is to make my first song even if it is the stupitst one on the
planet! After all my mixing sessions I have had something in hand that I
could show. Since 1,5 years I am working on Sonar now and make progress but
nothing that I can show. I miss that dearly.

Also thanks to you Mary for your suggestion. I was working in Sonar and
when ever I didnt know something I was looking in the manual. But I will do
now as you have suggested.

I still think that a audio tutorial about things would be helpful. I may
even do them myself later on when I know how things work.

I am still working with Sonar 5.2 because I see no need to upgrade if I am
just learning.

so, thats for today. Keep the suggestions coming. I am thinking about
creating a little homepage where we all can publish audio material about
working with ct and Sonar.

All the best from Germany,
Patrick Schuppe

How I am approaching this is taking one lesson at a time and going through
the book that way.
I am just going to start lesson 6 today, as a matter of fact.
What I do since I have this on my Braille Note is I read the lesson in
Speech, then I go back and study it with the Braille Display then I quickly
read with speech the next day's lesson.
I then go back and write out what I have gleaned from the lesson and yes, I
do have to go back and look but that is just how I have done it.
