Hi, thanks for the information. My mind is boggling. I will try and explain
what I know.
I have sound forge on my computer as well as sonar. I understand in sound
forge there is a way of inserting and creating regions and I have attempted
to work it out to play samples via my keyboard. For example, I have a wave
file loaded up called chime.wav. It is a single bell chime sound. I then
select all with control A. I then go to insert region. it says name 01. I
keep it at that. It has the start time, finish time, and length of my
sample. I then select "Midi note on play" as I assume this is what I want. I
then press ok. I then play the keyboard and nothing happens. Obviously this
what I am doing is totally wrong, but I don't understand what the website
you pointed me to is saying. It explains what to do but not in which
program.
Sorry for my ignorance. I am grateful for the help.

Read up on it, and then shoot the questions over my way, I'm we'll be able
to help you. It's really a great sampler/sampling format, I use it all the
time!

Hi! I am very keen to develop music using samplers. So far I have had to use
my bad quality mono sampler on my keyboard. Can you explain how to get my
wave files in to the SFZ format. I would be emencely greatful if you could
help with this as I have been trying to trigger waves or convert to midi for
ages.
