Hi,

i had the same problem, and i was able to resolve.

try. first to unselect all by press shift plus enter 3 times.
Just to make shure that all is unselect.

Second, go to the last bar, i understood you sayed it is the 118 bar.
and, press shift plus. end. key 3 times. to select from the position 118 bar to
the end.

then, as Gordon said. control plus X key. cut with all options chek.

best wishes,
Rui

Annabelle, I haven't found the answer yet, but if I do, I'll let you know.

I've even tried recording a little something on the 800 plus bars and then
checked all check boxes in the delete menu and press space bar on OK. The
strange thing is, the tune I recorded on the 800 plus bars is now following
straight on from my project.right next to the end of my project. I thought I'd
cracked it, , so I pressed alt enter to select track from start to end and
when I pressed control enter, all the 891 bars 4 beats and 160 ticks was still
there silent yet so present like a shark lurking in the... well I'm off to bed
before I give myself computer nightmares lol.

How did you sort it out? What command did you press? I want to find this
out, since I have some projects that have a large number of empty measures. I
myself have tried CTRL+8, and I've tried the delete whole measures and shift by
whole measures, but nothing changes. What am I forgetting? What am I doing
wrong? I'm confused!

    Hi Gord and Dave,

I've tried both cutting and deleting, for some reason it just doesn't want
to go.
I've managed to sort this problem out before on other projects, I'm not
sure why this one is being so annoying.

Thanks for getting back to me, this just maybe a corrupted project or
should I say, a project that's been corrupted.

      Hi:
Try using cut instead. In the cut dialog, make sure that all the other
options e.g. automation, tempo changes, markers, etc. are also checked, and
make sure that the remove space or whatever that says is also checked.

      Hi All,

I have a project that is 118 bars long, now the problem is if I press alt
and enter to select from start to end, then control and enter to see how many
bars there are? There's a staggering 891 bars, 4 beats and 160 ticks.

I've tried selecting all tracks from 118 thru 891-4-160 then pressing
delete. It didn't work, what am I doing wrong?

      Hope you can help.
