Wow nicely done Steve, I'll try to remember that. I've had this extra space
thing myself, but i've always been able to delete it.

Hi Neville and Dave,

I'd tried recording a few bars after the end of the project, selected all
the tracks from where the project finished to the end, made sure all the
boxes were checked in the delete menu and pressed OK. The new bars I'd
recorded were now nearer to my project but the empty space still remained at
891-4-160.

I did find away around this, I read in the Cake talking document something
about deleted space moving forward, so I

1: unfreeze all the tracks,

2: selected from bar 1 to bar 118, which is the duration of my project,

3: copied it,

4: pasted the project at bar 891. I made sure it was safely there,

5: selected all tracks from bar 1 to bar 891

6: Whilst in the delete menu I made sure all boxes were checked and pressed
OK.

Now when I press alt enter to select start to end and then press control
enter, it says, bar 1 to bar 118.

Thanks again for all your help.

Put some audio or midi about ten bars after your project ends. Select all
tracts from about 1 or 2 bars after your project ends to the end by pressing
control f10. Then check the delete whole check box in the delete dialog.
Then press enter and that should do it.

May the peace of God which passes all understanding guard your heart and
mind in Christ Jesus. God bless you!

Hi All,

I have a project that is 118 bars long, now the problem is if I press alt
and enter to select from start to end, then control and enter to see how
many bars there are? There's a staggering 891 bars, 4 beats and 160 ticks.

I've tried selecting all tracks from 118 thru 891-4-160 then pressing
delete. It didn't work, what am I doing wrong?

Hope you can help.
