Hi all, I now this is a little off topic to Sonar, Dancing Dots and the usual recording talk here, but I figured I would tap all the wizard brains here anyway. I need to do some recordings (and some live performances) with several wwireless lapel mics. I want to be able to do up to 6 (or at worst case 5) separate microphones simultaneou7sly. Is there a system like this out there? Will I have to use a couple different 3 channel setups? I think I recently saw some wireless stuff with 256 available channels, but it seemed there was a limitation of two or three simultaneous mics. I don't need music quality, but highest possible voice quality is required. I want either the mic receiver/mixer to be able to feed a recording line level input, and also I will use this for a PA feed. It would be spectacular if I could throttle back the output of the mic/receiver/mixer to feed the mic input of a high quality camera like a Canon G2. I need this for a Halloween presentation, so I want to start searching for the right choice soon. I'm guessing I'm going to have to pay some pretty hefty bucks for such a system. Don't consider the price when making any suggestions, but do send along any ideas for *where* to buy this stuff. I was going to look at big music stores like ZZounds or Musician's Friend. Let me know if you know a specific place to get the system and mics. Thanks in advance for any ideas. Please feel free to answer directly to john@xxxxxxxxx privately if the list is the wrong place for this kind of thread. John
