Good detective work Jean. I certainly would never have thought of that.

The latest public release is 8.0.29. To absolutely make sure you are running the latest, try downloading it, running it and if it still says that you are running 8.0.28, then I think that it was just mis numbered. Unless I'm told otherwise.

OK, I found the problem!
The CTWEBUPDATE.INI file in my ct 8 folder had /7/ instead of /8/,
Now, I'm getting the right update which says like yours that the latest version is 8.0.29 and that I have the latest version.
However, when I load Sonar 8, the scripts version is 8.0.28!!!
What gives?
Where can I find the CT 8.0.29 version?

Jean
What version does it say you are running? I just tried it here to see if it
would act like you described. Here I'm told that I am running 8.0.29 which
is the latest public release.

Sunflower

When will the CT 8 web update process be corrected?
As reported many weeks ago, when checking CT 8 we get a message that the
latest version is CT 7 something!!!
