Okay! That's great. But when I downloaded Jaws 10 I couldn't get Sonar to
work for me. In fact, at the time, II couldn't get Jaws 10 to perform some of
the functions Jaws is supposed to gbe able to do. So I un-installed it. This
was a couple months ago; perhaps things have changed since then. That would be
cool. I liked the new features in Jaws 10 that are not in Jaws 8, but I just
couldn't get everything to work right.

God bless you.

Bobby Lusk.

If you looking at latest Jaws 10 update May 18, it says
The 64-bit version of JAWS 10 now correctly tracks focus when running
Microsoft Windows 7.
This means they've been working on it.
Microsoft already released release candidate for Windows 7, and the rumor is
that new computers for the holiday season would have it.

I don't think that the quote race quote to complete scripts is dictated by
just the source code for CT or J ~Sonar, but, whether or not FS pull their
fingers out, and prepare JAWS for Windows 7 first?

Am I correct in saying this, or am I missing the point?

In order for that to happen, they would need to rewrite the SonarJaws
surface for a 64 bit environment and I don't know if they have the source code
for that .dll. This won't be an issue for the guys who are coding the free
scripts as they own all of the source code for there .dll. hmm, wonder who
will make it to 64 bit first?

Windows 7 is talked about everywhere being the best OS microsoft ever
released. A lot of people who tested windows 7 on audio production environment
say it's more stable than xp, and it's not resource intensive like Vista.
Lastly, a lot of computer manufactures are preparing to crank out computers
with Windows 7 soon. I believe FS is also working on Jaws to support Windows 7
when it comes out.
I know CT hasn't even caught up with vista fully, but maybe David
should just skip Vista and move onto Windows 7? Does David have any plan? Maybe
beta team should just mention it so that David can prepare mentally. :)
It'd be awesome if we can use Sonar 9 on windows 7 64 bit next year!
