Try selecting using shift f9, and typing the from and through manually. Also,
check your paste options, make sure that blen or replace is selected, You
probably have it set to shift/slide.

Hi.

Nope. i always made sure i play the notes on bar 1.

The problem comes when it comes to selecting on a track.

For example, if i select bars 1 to 5, copy them and paste them in another part,
for what ever reason, bar 1 Is left out, and there is a a bar long gap before
the notes start playing again in bar 2.

I use quantise alot in my projects,

Perhaps the notes are placed right before the bar that you selected, for
example, you might have selected bar 3 through 7, but the string chord notes
are really at 2:4.900 or something close like that. Did you use quantize? This
will usually set the notes to the beginning of the bar if that’s where they’re
suppose to be.

Hi Folks.

I have 1 small problem concerning the cake walk tts 1 soft synth. Especially
when it comes to copying and paisting midi events in midi tracks.

Especially with sustained instruments like the strings and the pads.

Now, when ever I copy and paiste these, for some reason they seemed to have
left the first bar of the selection out. So when ever I listen back, there is a
1 bar long gap before the thing plays again. Is there a way where I could
rectify this?

Cheers.

Make sure that your Quad-Capture is connected to your PC. Next, run SONAR.

You want to select the driver for the Quad-Capture which should appear in the
list for your playback timing master and record master. These are the first
two fields on the General tab under SONAR’s Audio Devices entry of the Options
menu.

If you do not find the drivers for the Roland Quad-Capture on the list and you
are certain that your Quad-Capture is connected, then Windows does not yet know
about the existence of your Quad-Capture. You must install or reinstall the
proper device driver software in order for Windows to know about that device
and for SONAR to use it.

See the official webpage for Roland:

In sonar go to options, audio dvices, and set the driver type to asio, and then
select the card you want to use (if you have more than 1)

Subject: [ddots-l] What do I configure and how in the Controll Pannel?

Hello people,

My Roland Quad soundcard is installed; Jaws 14 is configured for the internal
card and so are Sound Fordge and MP. My Sonar 8.5 recorgnizes it in both audio
and midi. But I am not sure what else to do to make Sonar record. I hope to
have some help soon but nothing is confirmed yet. Meanwhile, could someone
please give me some tips or direct me to a manual how to go about the steps to
make Sonar play and record? I do not have Caketalking. Thanks.

Best,

Rubens Marshall
