I'm one of these people that likes programs to initialize in certain environments, manners, or behaviors, so I put a heavy emphasis on templating. I'd like to have Sonar come up with a different kind of track arrangement than the default. In particular, I'd like the first 5 tracks to be assigned to MIDI channels 1 to 5 on my first interface, the next four tracks to be assigned to channels 6-9 on my second interface, then back to my first interface for channel 10. What about channels 11-16, you may ask? Unassigned at this point, but having the first ten pre-assigned would be absolutely grand every time I open a new project. Frankly, I'd also prefer the audio tracks be at the bottom of the list, but that's not a show-stopper if it can't be done. Can someone please explain, if this is possible, how to do it? Whilst I await the replies, I'll go looking around and may discover it myself, but in thirteen hours yesterday, I did not find it. Granted, my head was in a different place in the program and I had other demons to kill, but that's behind me now and I'm ready to move forward to my next phase. TIA again.
