Hi,

I have asked here about this topic, and I got some success. I have more questions about removing click produced from cut and paste.
Let's say I have a 16 bar long song, and I want to replace bar 15 and 16 with another take.
I would select bar 15 through end and delete. Then, I would copy the take I want from bar 15 to 16 and paste it to the track I was working on.
Now there's a click between bar 14 and 15. In order to remove the click, I'd select bar 15 to end and do a small nudge to the left. Then, I select bar 14 and 15 and do the cross fade.
I can do this only if when I fix the end of section. My question is if there is an easy way to do in the middle of a section.
Let's say if I want to fix the same 16 bar song. Now I want to get rid of bar 9 and 10.
If I copy paste bar 9 and 10 from another take, there are 2 clicks instead of one.
If I small nudge bar 9 and 10 to the right and apply the crossfade, the first click gets removed.
However, there's click between 10 and 11, and the now the click got moved to little bit of left because I did the small nudge. Also, there's a gap between 10 and 11. How do I find out how much the clip got moved in terms of tics? I know I can select different amount for nudge in terms of frames, seconds, and samples, but that doesn't help, because I can move through the song only by tics.
Also, if you do too many of these, wouldn't the timing be out of sync, because when you do the small nudge, you're getting rid of little portion of music. Let's say you made a composite track and you edited like 20 different places. It means you got rid of 20 frames or some other unit.
Hopefully someone can understand what I'm trying to ask. Sorry I couldn't make it my question more clear.
Thanks,
