I love Roland strings and brasses, but couldn't stand the functionality of the
board.

I haven't used the fantom in a while, I sold mine, but you first want to
make sure that you're using it from its performance mode. Also, one of the
performances is called a sequencer template, where you can record on all the
tracks, etc.

      Hey all.
Am trying to get my fantom x8 working happily with sonar. But i cant seem
to get the midi channels to work and can only seem to record one track that
will play on channel one. All the other channels done play anything. Also is
there a way to mute what your playing on the keyboard before it goes to the
computer. I am using it as a midi controller as well and when i play on the
keyboard the sound that the keyboard is making is doubled because the computer
is sending the identical data back through.
Any help would b greatly appreciated
      cheers
