First of all, you are probably in patch mode. Go into performance mode or
maybe even sequencer mode to get more than one channel to play. Also, you
have to turn local mode off in your keyboard. I have a fantom xr and can't
tell you how this is done, sadly.

Subject: [ddots-l] Fantom and Sonar

Hey all.

Am trying to get my fantom x8 working happily with sonar. But i cant seem to
get the midi channels to work and can only seem to record one track that
will play on channel one. All the other channels done play anything. Also is
there a way to mute what your playing on the keyboard before it goes to the
computer. I am using it as a midi controller as well and when i play on the
keyboard the sound that the keyboard is making is doubled because the
computer is sending the identical data back through.

Any help would b greatly appreciated

cheers
