Hey J, just wondering how its going for the progress in the accessibility to
the app for the Fender Mustang GT amp.
I’m planning on getting 2 100 was amps as I went to my local music shop and
really love the sound of this amp.
If you need any assistance please let me know as I’d be more than glad to
collaborate with you.
I’m also thinking of getting the 40 wats for my room, and just keep the 100
wats for gigging.
200 wats would be great but I figure for my needs the 100 wats would meet my
needs as I don’t play too loud on stage, and most times engineers end up
putting he sound over the PA system.
I’d love to have two of them because I could always chain them and have a deep
sound, or just simply keep on as an extra lol.
Another question,
Can you us the foot switch, to act as a stomp where you can actually turn
on/off effects such as distortion, and reverb ETC or does ht effort switch
simply function as a preset switcher?
I’m assuming you can, however since I don’t own one until this coming saturday
I’m just curious lol.

Ok, I've been working with this Mustang GT 200 amplifier, and I'm telling
you, this is the most exciting piece of gear I've ever owned! Via bluetooth
on my iPhone, I can do a deep dive into all kinds of parameters, including
being able to reorder the signal chain, name custom presets and rename
existing presets! Met with our store's area Fender rep and planning on
doing a Youtube video and pod cast demoing how this thing works for blind
musicians integrating with the iPhone!
It sounds great, easy to use, powerful and versatile! I know I sound like
I'm doing an ad, but honestly, this is what I've always wanted in a modeling
amplifier. Finally! And I still have more to learn about it's
capabilities. I'll be plugging it up to my Sonar DAW today via the stereo
xlr outputs.
One more thing: it is physically so light weight that even this model,
which is 200 watts, is a breeze to move. Guitar in a nice gig bag over one
shoulder, the Mustang GT in my left hand and my cane in my right, and POOF,
away we go!
So cool!
