From muy recollection,
here is the step by step for what Chris has said.
first download and install the DropBox application.
Then create a folder there and upload files to share
Then within the file menu select 'view on DropBox.com'.
the web page arrives. find and select the share button
new page arrives, Then navigate to the to edit field and enter the
email address for the recipient
there should also be a field for a comment if desired..
Then hopefully there is a 'share this folder' button
that's it.
I usually then send an email separately to confirm the client got the folder.

access to the folder through your account on the Dropbox Website.
Or, you send them links to individual files, through items in the
Windows Explorer context menu.
