Hi DJX.

Basically, I'd love to know what accessible options we have between the very cheap and the very expensive.

Hi Chris, funny enough, I do remember that program that Kam wrote, so RME has been where I've had my sights on for some time now, but of course that is in a world where money is no obstacle lol.
That BabyFace looks nice in deed!

I've been meaning to check out these new Motu interfaces that I think you had posted about 2 months ago, but my local GC hasn't brought them in yet. I'm also trying to get my hands on some Apollo Audio stuff for testing, as I've heard good things about those units as well, especially their thunderbolt offerings.

Regards, DJX

Hi DJX.
Thanks for posting this, even though it's not something I wanted to hear.

As you know, I'm putting together a new DAW. I guess I will also be replacing my Saffire Pro26 firewire interface. That is unfortunate, but a good excuse for an upgrade I suppose.

I don't need many inputs or outputs, so I'm strongly considering an RME Babyface Pro FS.

That's a little more than I want to spend, but it also has the best specs.
If you go the RME route, you'll need a copy of a little program can Kırca <cankirca@xxxxxxxxx> wrote that makes the TotalMix application fully accessible to us.

ON the cheaper end of the scale are the Behringer U Foria units. I have no idea what is between these two extremes that is also accessible.

Consider copying your post to the Reaper without Peepers (RWP) list to collect more opinions.
