I've been meaning to check out these new Motu interfaces that I think you had posted about 2 months ago, but my local GC hasn't brought them in yet. I'm also trying to get my hands on some Apollo Audio stuff for testing, as I've heard good things about those units as well, especially their thunderbolt offerings.

Thanks for posting this, even though it's not something I wanted to hear.
As you know, I'm putting together a new DAW. I guess I will also be replacing my Saffire Pro26 firewire interface. That is unfortunate, but a good excuse for an upgrade I suppose.
I don't need many inputs or outputs, so I'm strongly considering an RME Babyface Pro FS.

If you go the RME route, you'll need a copy of a little program can Kırca <cankirca@xxxxxxxxx> wrote that makes the TotalMix application fully accessible to us.
ON the cheaper end of the scale are the Behringer U Foria units. I have no idea what is between these two extremes that is also accessible.
