I would like to suggest that you are buying a laptop which is very powerful,
Me myself use a laptop for musicproduction right now, and this is very funny
to do.
headphones is a reccomendation if you are not visiting friends who has
monitor speakers already. and another thing I would reccomend is that you
have a big external harddrive which you can save all your projects in.

Dear everyone,
I am new to the list.
I am a singer songwriter, pianist, composer and I Would like to
record/produce my own material. I would like to set up a small home studio
but also a mobile one so that I can be creative anywhere and anytime.
What do I have to bear in mind when buying a new system? (desktop or
laptop) Bill from dancing dots recommended the presonus firebox as a
soundcard. What else do I need (monitor speakers, headphones, microphone,
keyboard ...) and what would you suggest that works best with JAWS, Sonar
and CT that is easy to use as a blind person? Many thanks for your help.
