I'm really pleased with my Senheiser 609's for miking guitar cabs. They've a
really good front to back ratio and nada off the sides. And you can really
blast
'em.

I know there have been mic discussions here before and I cant remember what
the suggestions were. What would people
recommend as a great mic for micing guitar? Is there one out there for less
than $500? Ive tried the Studio Projects C3
and, though I get a wonderful quality of sound, Im looking for that little
extra punch. I also have a Shure Ksm27. Is that a
better choice? Is there one I dont have which would be even better?
Looking for ideas.
