hello jim, if i'm understanding you correctly you hav said you soloed the third
track with the vocals and got nothing. try these steps and let me know on or
off list if anything works out for you. first off you dont hav to solo any
tracks for your project. if you hav a vocal and an as well as an instramentel
track you can set your from and through times with f 9 for your from and f 10
for your through. hold down control and hit inter three times to sallect all
tracks. this should take care of the problem. make sure nun of your tracks
are soloed or muted. i'm thinking thats your problem for what you are trying
to do you dont need anything soloed. if nun of this helps, i could speek with
you over the phone if you are in the u.s and we could sort this out. best of
luck to ya.

Hell all, I posted this one earlier and no one responded so here goes again.
I have a delta 10/10 sound card connected to my computer with a Mackey mixer
two monitors and a midisport. I imported and instrumental track in to Sonar
and a vocalists recorded the vocals on a separate track. I armed a third track
and went in to record and once completed I soloed the third track and went in
to play back and got nothing. I did a bounce to track and played back the
third track and got both the vocals and the instrumental. However, after
mixing down the project and playing it back with the windows media player I had
no vocals just the instrumental track. Can some one help me with this problem?
 Thanks
