Hi, Kevin,

As I recall, there is a way to tell JAWS to use the default scripts instead of
the CT scripts. I just cannot remember what that is.

As you may be aware, it is important to install versions of SONAR later than
8.5 on a separate machine or to take other steps to ensure that your
installation of SONAR 8.5 is not altered by the installation of, say, SONAR
Platinum. That installer updates your version of Dimension Pro and other
components. When you run SONAR 8.5 again, some CakeTalking functions related
to those components may no longer work or work reliably.

I believe that you can also perform a system restore under Windows to rewind
your machine back to a time prior to installation of Platinum.

Bill

SONAR platinum should be in its own directory. So, Cake Talking shouldn’t be
active when SONAR Platinum is running. am I missing something?

I want to play with the SONAR Platinum Demo & need to temporarily disable CT
8.8. Is there a quick, temporary way to do this?
