Hello All,
Hope everyone had a great Christmas day.
I was just wondering if anyone on this owns or has used the virus ti hardware
synth ? I was thinking of getting it somewhere down the road when my recording
studio has been built for me in the next few months. However, I am not sure
which version of the synth to get , I checked the website and there seems to be
four different versions of it, or three different versions. I do know that 2 of
them are cheaper than one of them though, one of them costs almost 4000
dollars, a crazy price I think, I think the cheapest one is 1000 dollars. I'm
just not sure if I went for the cheaper option, if one or two of the versions
of the synth had less sounds than the 4000 dollars one ? I think one of them is
an 88 key synth as well. But I don't really need another 88 key synth as I
already have yamaha mo xf music production workstation that i use as a midi
controler to control the various vsts i have. So far I own sylenth, realguitar,
ana vst from sonic academy and also hypersonic vst, along with a few sfz sample
libraries.
Also if anyone has virus, I was wondering how accessible it might be ? If I did
get one of them, i'm just not sure if I'd be able to use the yamaha mo xf as a
midi controler to control it. I also have the rowland quod capture audio
soundcard if that's helpful too. I mainly produce edm music, but particularly
progressive house and many of the producers who's music i listen to use the
virus in their productions.
Any help regarding this synth would be much appreciated.
All the best,
Josh
