Sorry, but it's not working. This function keys which you wrote me to use dont work. Only the aplication key react on pressing. But there is no option you mention. But I found this option in the track output. and send the kick track to this compressor. Next I go to the compressor window press f4 and try to set the parameters but I didn't hear any change. What is wrong? ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Eagle" <onlineeagle@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

1 Put a compressor on the FX bin of the track containing the pad.
Certain compressors allow you to assign them as outputs or sends. The
sonitus compressor for instance is one of these.

2. Go to your track with the kick on it and press control and the
applications key together.

3 From the list of options, enter on “insert send”.

4 Select your compressor from the list, in this case the sonitus
compressor, and press enter.

5 Go back to your track with the pad on and mess around with the
compressor parameters until you get the sound you like.

Hope this helps.

OK thank you.

Did you looked in to your project? you find a new output in the
audiotracks wich goes to the sidechain.
but I don#t know how to work with it correct.

So sidechain freaks, - please, can you tell ralf and me how to work with
sidechains?
regards, Robert.
