I don't think there's a solution to this yet.
I just back up two authorizations one with fw-1884 on and one with fw-1884 off,
and I activate them manualy.
Another option is not to turn off fw-1884 at all.
Anybody has another solution? I wanna know too.

I know this question has been asked before but can't remember how to solve
the problem. When I connect the Fw-1884 to my computer, Jaws asks me for a new
activation code and presents a different locking code from the one on the
computer. Could someone tell me how to resolve this problem or do I need to
contact technical support at Freedom Scientific.
