In order for you to hear the effects in realtime, you must turn on input echo.
Right arrow through your tracks, until you get to a button that says input echo. By default it is off. press enter to turn it on.

Subject: [ddots-l] Listening to inserted effects while recording

Hello cakeTalkers,

with destructive as well as with non-destructive effects I did not find a way to let them sound while recording. That means, I have to use the guitar "dry" and only then insert the distortion effect. However, it sure is a difference playing it with or without hearing the distortion effect. Of course, I could use an External machine for that. I just think there must be something I didn't realize with sonar so far.

Can anyone give some help?

Thanks in advance!

Wolfgang
