Hey guys
I have a question about live performance setup.
Is anyone using plugins live on stage for vocals and instruments?
I love my setup at home, but recently decided to start looking in to running
some kind of setup live.
A major issue I thought of right away was how to navigate the fx and presets
with speech and keeping that away from the audience. I thought of a few more
variables as well, so I'm just trying to look at the process one step at a time.
I did a bit of research, and ran in to waves multirack soundGrid products. I
have no idea if that would be an advantage, or if it's even accessible.
I do have someone sighted in the band running a 24 channel Presonous StudioLive
3 board, but he has the main mix. I have my own 12 channel Mackie Pro fx board
that I run my gear through, and then send to the main board.
I also have a laptop with win10 and Reaper DAW.
I know I'm probably asking several questions which will lead to more questions
here, but I need to start somewhere.
Any advice that will send me in the right direction would be highly appreciated.
